ARMAD receives flag flown over Camp Fallujah, IRAQ
On December 14, 2008 Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day received a flag that was flown over Camp Fallujah, Iraq by the U.S. Marines, and U.S. Service Members. Pictures of the process were also received from the Marines as they raised the flag, and later retired it.
This flag was made possible by Mary Ellen Wooten of 'From Us To You' a Military Support Group that sends packages to our Troops that are deployed.
ARMAD has worked with "From Us To You" over the past few years and set up a "live" event at one of their fund raisers to help our Troops hear the voices of America expressing support for them over Amateur Radio.
You can learn more about "From Us To You" at http://www.fromustoyou.us/
You can also find more information about ARMAD at www.armad.net.
This is indeed a great honor, and we want our Troops to know that we support them and their mission.
Let's "Ham It Up For The Troops."

Great to see this. Thanks to ARMAD, Mary Ellen Wooten, thanks to the soldiers that keep us free and thanks to everyone involved.
