I was at walmart on coldwater road this morning when i noticed two electric linemen decorating their truck with christmas lights and ornaments and I went up to tell them I guessed that was one way to get in the christmas spirit. They laughed and told me since they werent going to be at home for christmas they figured they would try to make other people happy for the holiday. I told them i really appreciated the fact that they had traveled here to help restore the electricity for so many people and I was sorry they would miss christmas at home and they told me they just appreciated all the good people here in Fort Wayne. i took a couple of pictures of their truck with the decorations and thought it would be nice for the people here to know what these guys go through for us everyday.

The people of Fort Wayne & surrouding areas should give praise & thanks towards these hard working people that came from out of state to help restore the power to the area. If you see one, stop by thank them or buy them a cup of coffee.

I too appreciate all of the hard work and dedication of the line men. We were sooooo happy to get our power back on Monday before Christmas. Thanks!! Merry Christmas
