On December 18th, 2008, we awoke to a neighborhood encased in an ice crystal coating. While the ice storm caused much devastation in the Fort Wayne area, I would have to say that it was one of the most beautiful sight I've ever seen. Everything coated in ice, which made it look like crystal and if you stood quietly, when the wind came, it sounded as if a million crystal wind chimes came to life at once.
