Awesome Shot - Fremont v Eastside

This video clip is from just before half time at the Freshmas games of Fremont vs Eastside game held in Butler on Jan 12, 2009.

There was 1.1 seconds left before halftime when Matt (Fremont - guard) got the rebound under the Eastside basket and fired off the (almost) full court shot at the buzzer

The referee scored the shot as a 3 point shot at the buzzer. I am sorry that I missed the Fremont team celebration!

Hey Mom my name is Aust'e'n. Anyways I'm not saying anything bad about the shot. I think it was an incredible shot... im just saying something about that Eastside's 'C' Team (which is like a freshman team) has one sophmore not two.

Well Austin - the fact that the Eastside team has two sophomores has nothing to do with Matt's incredible shot! However this does say a lot about Fremont's entire frosh team winning 35 to 26 to Eastside's "C" team!

yes that was an excellent shot! but still you are playing eastsides "c" team that has two sophmores on the team... but still good shot! Im wondering though... did the ball leave his hand???
