The asteroid 3951 Zichichi is a minor planet that orbits between Mars and Jupiter. This movie shows the movement of this object over a 6.5 hour period in the winter of 2007. The flash at the beinnin of the moive is an meteroid entering the earths atmosphere.

WOW there is an asteroid named after my family, cool! any idea as to why this asteroid is called zichichi? Thanks, Lauren Zichichi
