Where do wild beasts spend the winter?

This little beast has been with us for 4 days now and is in no hurry to leave. It acts sluggish, perhaps sick, perhaps pregnant. We have not seen it eat or drink. It does not act threatened by our presence.

he seems rather small. maybe he's a young one and this is his first winter. try leaving some crackers with peanut butter out for him to see if he'll eat something.
