Over the past few weeks, we have had a reasonable amount of snowfall. As the season comes to an end, the weather has begun to change; DRASTICALLY. In the past couple of days, we've had quite the warm up! The current temperature outside is about 55 degrees. Where, as of last week, the warmest we got was in the 20's! So you can see that there would be some fear of flooding.
With all of the rain we've recieved today, and the melted snow and ice, the rivers are rising and the streets are beginning to become flooded. This video was taken around 5pm, wednesday. My mother had been keeping the drains clear up until the time she got called into work. And with no one to tend to the drains, our street and our lawn became flooded. In other words, we came home to a mess.
We had to wade through about a foot and a half of water-Cold water-From a block up the street to our front door.
