Fort Wayne streets were turned to rivers on Wednesday afternoon when 3-4 inches of rain fell on the city. Some residents were forced to canoe down the street to their homes and traffic was creeping by during rush hour traffic. As the river continued to rise, whole trees were carried downriver after wind gusts of 50 mph blew them over.
