Midnight police chase on US 27

Just before midnight a vehicle went speeding past on US 27 perused by what looked like about 2 dozen cars. The chase continued south toward Decatur where the suspect turned around and headed back north on US 27. The police used stop sticks to slow down the suspect and continued to peruse the vehicle north where the chase ended near I469 and US 27. According to what I could hear on the scanner the suspect may have took some substance that was in a bag. The police did a great job controlling the suspect in this high speed pursuit.
