32 Year Middle School LJ Record Broken!

Karrina Espinoza a seventh grader from Lane Middle School Long Jumps her way into the record books. She broke a Long Jump Record that has stood since 1977. The previous record of 16'6" was set by Shari Dunn of Northwood Middle School. Karrina had a best Jump of 16'9" today at the City Middle School Track Championships. Karrina came oh so close to breaking the 400m Dash record of 58.9 seconds set in 2001. She ran a winning time of 59.2 seconds.
