Last night a couple of my buddies and I went fishing for flathead catfish in the maumee. About 2 hours into the night a sudden slam on my pole freaked us out. I grabbed the pole and started reeling her in. About 15 minutes later we had a 35 pound and 41 inch flathead on the shore. We took our pictures and set her back free in the maumee. It was a hell of a night and a hell of a fight.
