On Saturday June 27, 2009 I attended the RightOnline training session in Chicago sponsored by Americans For Prosperity. The main purpose was to arm and equip it’s members with the information needed to get them involved in grassroots action through blogging.
Highlights of the event included a presentation by Steve Moore of The Wall Street Journal, and Joe the Plumber.
The room was full, and emotions were high as we learned how to work in our communities, and over the Internet to help keep America strong and to preserve our founding principles.
After the presentations, and training we introduced ourselves, and shared networking information. The time spent together as a group was very moving and emotional as we shared with each other our concerns for America, and why we were at this forum.
We left the form fired up, and ready to get to work to inform our friends, family, and neighbors of ways to continue to keep America strong. There was a deep respect for the rule of law , and The Constitution.
My highlight was getting to meet Joe The Plumber, and taking a picture with him.
All of us must find ways to keep the American Dream alive. We must fight back as the the left continues to move it’s agenda. We must preserve our country, and protect the future for our children, and grandchildren.
Get involved, and so that we can continue to live in a free America, that can prosper a we move into the future.
I ask you to also look into support groups like AFP, and join in with like minded Americans to save our great nation.
