Lindsay was Josh's companion dog for many years. Josh has cerebral palsy and Lindsay was there for him every minute of every day and night. She went to school with him and even stayed with him during his hospital stays. A committed friend and helper until she herself began having physical problems. She is now spending her "golden years" with an older couple where she can be pampered and loved on as well. She came to us through Canine Companions for Independence. She was a gift from God for Josh. We love her still and miss her so, but know she's so much better off where she can be pampered and not have to feel she's "responsible" for Josh. We've seen no greater commitment than what Lindsay gave to Josh.
