We got him when he was about 6 weeks old. We had recently lost our other dog, Heidi, from old age. Both my mom and I were at a loss at first without her, and we decided that we couldn't take the loneliness any longer. We weren't expecting to find a replacement, and no dog would ever be able to fill Heidi's place, but Koby really did help us get over the loss of her. He is a much wilder dog, and we still miss Heidi everyday, but Koby really is a blessing in disguise.
