i swim for 11-12 girls but i will be moving up to 13-14 next year.....city swim was really fun, but the officials were way to strict this year. they disqualified a whole heat of 8 and unders for the same thing. they shouldnt be so strict next year

How can it be fun, when theses kids are disqualified in droves, then not told when it happens, or why. Being strict is O.K. but being told in advance that they are going to be disqualified by an inept fake referee, ridiculous. you are destroying this

The problem with the DQ's Friday wasn't all the fault of the officials. 2011 was an especially short season. Not enough time to get young kids swimming legal strokes in 4 weeks. Kids that didn't have legal strokes shouldn't have been in the event.
