Last fall our dear 9 year old Sheltie, Shiloh, died unexpectedly just as both of my kids headed off to college. Having been a "stay at home mom" for 20 years, I found the house cold and empty. I missed my kids, but I also missed my buddy, Shiloh. The months seemed to drag by and I could barely think of anything to smile about.
In the Spring, my daughter brought home a little papillon puppy and she named him Wally (Wallace). It was so fun to watch the silly playfulness of this new family member.Wally brought a smile back to our family and has made my transition into the empty nest so much easier!!
