We found Izzy at a pet rescue ... called a pet-jam. I took my four children to this to see a Scottish Terrier that was being featured... we were just looking because we love Scotties and already owned two of them. I walked by Izzy and her twin sister and commented to one of the workers about how darn cute they were. I asked the worker if she knew if they were male or female. She was quick to answer that the one in the cage was a male and the one being looked at and held by another family was a female. I quickly said too bad as we prefer female dogs. We got a few feet from the cage when the worker hurried over and said she had made a mistake and yes the dog was a female. So out she came and she put her paws up on my son's chest and wiggled her little cropped tail with her whole rear end in motion. She has the prettiest brown eyes too. I knew we weren't leaving without her. I filled out an application and made arrangements to take her home the next day. This little brown mutt that was pulled from a shelter and given a second chance is dearly loved by all of us in the Thoma household.
