Edna Bates of Columbia City celebrated her 91st birthday on Monday, August 10. A hot air balloon ride has been on her 'bucket list' for sometime. Thanks to the help of two of her sons and one of her granddaughters she was able to realized that dream on Wednesday August 12.
She flew approx 6 miles at 150 feet over the landscape south of Warsaw, the trip lasted 55 minutes.
