Press Release

Fort Wayne Derby Girls to Host Bust A Move 2 on October 2, 2009

The charity driven Fort Wayne Derby Girls are partnering with Cancer Services
of Northeast Indiana, The State Bank and Trust Company and Summit City Radio Group to host the
2nd annual "Bust A Move," an event that will raise funds for services and supplies for Fort Wayne
cancer survivors.
For Bust a Move, local artists and women volunteered their talents and their bodies to create unique,
inspiring cast representations of the female bust and the emotions associated with breast cancer.
Local artists have modified the casts, using various artistic mediums, to create outstanding works of
art. The art pieces will be auctioned on Friday, October 2, 2009, at the Kachmann Gallery, 1301 S.
Lafayette Street.
Like last year's event, Bust A Move 2 will be an event to remember, featuring hors d'oeurves and
cocktails from The Lantern, entertainment and a silent and live auction. Through this event, the Fort
Wayne Derby Girls hope to raise over $10,000 for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
A special media preview will take place from 4-6pm. The doors open to the general public at 6pm and
the live auction will begin at 7:30pm. Pre-sale tickets are available for $5 at Cancer Services. Tickets
are $10 at the door the day of the event.
