Kendallville, IN October 10th, 2008 - The 7th Annual Military Appreciation Party and Freedom Rally will be held at the Kendallville Eagles on 1990 W North St, Kendallville, IN. In the past six years, Rick Stephens has organized this party in honor of our service members and veterans and the event has grown by every year. “This is expected to be one of the largest military appreciation parties in the nation,” Stephens says. The party is made possible by the hard work of its volunteers and the graciousness of local people like Jemco Advertising and American Legion Post #330.
On Saturday, October 10th, the doors of the Eagles will open up to thank the men and women who serve and protect us. Festivities begin at 4pm; everybody is welcome and encouraged to bring a patriotic flag or sign.
The Party will be kicked off by a heartwarming procession lead by The Legion Riders and The Patriot Guard. The guests will be greeted by the great sounds of patriotic music from the Auburn Community Band and Fort Wayne Police Dept. and Bagpipers. There will also be live bands throughout the night.
Special appearances also include a hot air balloon demonstration, sky divers from SkyDive Fort Wayne and a fly over and landing of the Samaritan helicopter.
We welcome the public and their military heroes to a party of the highest honor!
