A little over a year ago after moving into my first apartment, I rescued a 5-month old tabby cat from the wild. He was sweet, cuddly, and loving...at least for the first night! Since then, I have watched him transform from my wild, little madman to a true companion. Most people who meet him comment on the fact that he is more like a dog than a cat! He licks, walks on a leash, and greets people at the door.
However, the best part of my whole tale of this lost little kitten is that he is perhaps the most ultimate Pittsburgh Steelers fan ever! Myself, I am a lifelong fan of Pittsburgh (of course, the fact that half of my family resides there has helped to foster my love of the city). And all who love Pittsburgh cheer the Steelers. Due to his spunky personality and orangish-red coat, I gave him the name of Heinz - partly for the ketchup, but mostly for the Steelers' home (Heinz Field). As an early Christmas present, I bought him his very own Steelers jersey this year - Heinz "57." Now he's ready to watch the Steelers in style each game day! He is my #1, "Terrible" fan!!
