Our new poll asks, "Do you think road crews were caught off guard this morning or simply dropped the ball?"

And our weekend poll asked, "How much are you planning to spend for Christmas this year, compared to last?"

As expected...nearly two thirds said they would be spending less.

I think they dropped the ball. It took everyone I know at least double the regular drive time to get to work. What they need to remember is that people can get fired for being late to work, weather bad or not. The crews should have been out sooner.
