Woodside Middle School Student Brayden Law
won the AAU National Cross Country Championship last Saturday Dec 5.
The event was held at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando. Law a 6th grade student ran his first XC race for Woodside last September, and won the NHC Middle School title in Oct.
The weather on race day had temps in the low 40s with heavy rain and wind.
Even with the weather Law ran a 10:28 3K,
and finished a full 20 sec in front of the rest of the field of 150 national runners. With that he was awarded the AAU Gold Medal and carries
the title of All-American.
