Fort Wayne Coca-Cola employees volunteered their time this holiday season at Waynedale Elementary school. Santa and Coca-Cola employees showed up in a Coca-Cola truck, and handed out books to all children. The event underscores Fort Wayne Coca-Cola’s commitment to projects promoting literacy. Coca-Cola was recently honored as a literacy champion by the United Way of Allen County for their work with Real Men Read, Lunch Buddies and Study Connection. “Our teachers, staff, parents and especially our students appreciate Coca-Cola’s partnership with our school. Coca-Cola employees have had a positive influence on our children,” said Kent Martz, Principal of Waynedale Elementary School.
