On December 26, 2009 Arthur Miller, a Vietnam Veteran received a long awaited for award. He served his country in Vietnam as an enlisted man in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Miller remembers coming home after his tour of duty and being told that he should not travel home in his uniform.
However, on this day Mr. Miller was honored by a few friends, his son-in-law; and his daughter Audrey Queckboerner for his military service.
The commendation was presented by U.S. Army Freedom Team Ambassador Emery McClendon, of Fort Wayne in an informal ceremony.
The Freedom Team Salute is an honor that is given to U.S. Army Veterans to say thank you for your service to this country.
The commendation includes a certificate, and letter signed by the U.S. Army Chief Of Staff, and Secretary Of The Army, an official U.S. Army Insignia Lapel Pin; and a U.S. Army Decal.
