Black Pine Animal Park hosts Animal Enrichment Day annually as a way of sharing the holiday spirit with the animals.

This year's event was held January 2 and visitors arrived with many wonderful donations of needed supplies (from the parks' "wish list") and enjoyed watching the cats, primates, birds, and farm animals enjoy a variety of toys and treats.

Black Pine is open by appointment during the winter. The next "public" event will be Saturday, Feb. 13 when the sanctuary will host the annual Cats 'n' Cocoa, an afternoon of fun featuring the big cats.
