Room For Dreams

Meeting Fort Wayne's Mayor Tom Henry

I had won lunch on a silent auction with our Fort Wayne City Mayor Tom Henry on Jan. lucky 13th day. What a way to start the new year!
The money from the silent auction went to the Larry King Heart Foundation. Tom and I are both Military Veterans, he is really a great person to meet, and hopefully make all the necessary changes needed in our city. We just talked about how so many jobs have been lost and how people are really struggling right now. He is very aware and sad about it, yet knows we will make a recovery. When I say we that means we all need to look for a brighter tomorrow and not allow the crime to happen in the streets, and pointing fingers at others.
I can tell you with all of his phone calls, appointments and the concerns by the people every day. Tom Henry is doing the best anyone could do and exceeding our expectations of him. I hope everyone who meets him will shake his hand, and give him support as I did. Fort Wayne does have room for dreams.

I think Mayor Henry is doing a fine job, and should be re-elected. Having a brother who is a successful local industrialist is also helpful. like the Clintons- a great 2 for one deal. jeers to mitch Harer for trying to impugn our Mayors integrity.
