Fort Wayne Derby Girls Draw Record Crowd at 5th Season Opener
(January 12, 2010) On Saturday, January 9, the Fort Wayne Derby Girls hosted their 1st bout of the 2010 season at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and drew a record crowd for their organization. 1,600 fans came out to support the local non-profit sports organization, and though both the SWAT Team and the nationally ranked Bomb Squad fell to their opponents, the skaters feel proud of their accomplishments.
Tickets are now on sale for all remaining bouts at the Coliseum.
