Hello,
My name is Chris Davidson with Nashville recording artist and local (FW)country group “Shakin’ Bake” We have an exciting story for everyone and would like to share with the community. Shakin’ Bake had a very fortunate 2009 and 2010 will be bringing much more excitement to the area at a National level. In 2009 Shakin’ Bake Shared the Stage with a slew of country music stars including: Phil Vassar, Jamey Johnson, Luke Bryan, James Otto, Randy Houser, Keith Anderson, Jason Michael Carroll and many others. Most recently (01/15/2010) with Jake Owen.
In the midst of all of this last year we were approach by a representative of Erv Woolsey Management (George Straits Manager of over 20 years. Also Manages Dierks Bentley and Leann Womack). They seen us at a Concert in Warsaw, started a relationship with us and we have been working in Nashville every since. We recorded in Nashville at the top studio with the top producers, engineers, songwriters, and musicians Nashville has to Offer. We released our First EP this past New Years Eve and have had great success. Regular Spins on K105 (Fort Wayne) and Willie 103 (Warsaw). Both stations have never put any local on rotation EVER and we didn’t even ask them to. The song on rotation is “The Underdog” which you can hear on our website (below). Many people in Nashville and around the area think this is a #1 hit on country radio and all this from a band from Fort Wayne. We are in discussion with Management and MAJOR record labels and WILL soon have a deal and be played on country stations across America. Shakin’ Bake will be put on our own show at the Huntington Auditorium Feb. 27th. 1000 person capacity with most tickets sold already without the radio promos on air yet. We will also be headlining the Wagon Wheel Theater in Warsaw in March for the second time in a Year. Shakin’ Bake Also help Raise over $40,000 for Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in 2009 alone and promises to do whatever we can to increase that amount this year. This is going to be a huge Year for us. We hope that you can help us spread the word about this story. There is entirely too much going on in our lives right now list in this letter. As Ive been typing this, I just received a call from Nashville that we will be featured (on Nashville Radio) for the entire month of February and be showcased down there LIVE on the Feb. 23rd.
Its sharing stories like this with the community that makes us (the community) proud to live where we are and proud of our neighbors!. Shakin’ Bake has no intension of ever moving away from the community. We have shown the Industry in Nashville that we work extremely hard. I have attached a few links below, 1 to our website and another to the most recent article in Whatzup magazine. I hope to hear from you or someone soon. We are very excited to share our story.
Respectfully,
Chris Davidson (260) 417-2738
