It is not unusual on my morning walks to find a lost hub cap along the road so I place it against a pole so it can be seen and reclaimed by the driver who lost it. One day I found a pair of britches along the road. I suspect a jogger lost them so I placed them on an available No Trespassing sign. Sure enough, after a couple of days they had been reclaimed.
