Jan. 25 (Depression Day)

A Veiw Of Depression

Today is suppose to be the most depressing day of the year. After Christmas you have bills, it is cold outside, you may know someone who lost their job,and if your football team lost well that is just the cork on the bottle. I was sitting at Cracker Barrel restauant waiting to enjoy their Sunday special and noticed something strange. If you look closely you will hopefully notice some other images of your own. This is my artistic view I wanted to share with you my vision of how a person might feel during depression.
The room has a chill as the fireplace is not burning. The table latern is not lit. The table is bare of food, no server, no sugar, salt or pepper, this is not needed due to no food on the table. Nobody across the table in the chair to even have a nice conversation with. A photo across the room of a deceased woman. Possibly a loving grandmother. Lastly the rocking chairs waiting yet rocking slowly from the brisk winter air.
I know this is sad but hopefully after reading this you when will notice someone sitting by themself in a wheelchair at a table on New Years Day just after midnight. You may see a person trying to open a door while struggling to get their walker through. You might even just see a person that looks sad in the room. Do the right thing, no matter your religion, smile and help them out. We are all here for a short time, can we all decide to work together and help those who are without? Remember Jesus still and always will love you. We are here to serve others. Every sunrise is a new day, start the day as if it were a new beginning. People are in need, make the change while you can.

sounds like this should have been the alternate ending to "Paranormal Activity." The rockers would have starting rocking, the fireplace would have lit itself, and Grandma would be eating cheeseburger.

Hhmm strange story! I've never seen any Cracker Barrel that I've drove past or visited that empty. Of course, I'm not out at midnight visiting Cracker Barrel, either.
