18 year old Carroll High School student Andrea Hans has just been awarded the Indiana state points title in the Semi Pro division of INEX Legends car racing. This came along with an 11th place finish in National points out of over 400 drivers. Andrea is part of Team Full Throttle which is a Driver Development Program out of North Carolina that molds young race car drivers into a package suitable for the NASCAR teams. Andrea is proud to be part of Erins House which is a place for children who have lost a loved one and need a safe place to grieve. She is also a spokesperson for the Parkview Trauma Don't Text and Drive program and hopefully other teen safety programs.
