Everyone always thinks they have a peregrine falcon in their backyard. That is a Cooper's hawk and they frequent backyards because of bird feeders. Still a bird of prey (which is really cool) - but not a peregrine falcon.

This is not a peregrine falcon-it's a hawk (a sharp-shinned hawk)
