Derby Girls raise $2,000 for burn camp

Fort Wayne Derby Girls Present $2,000 Check to Hoosier Burn Camp

Fort Wayne, Indiana (March 18, 2010) The hard hitting, charity driven Fort Wayne Derby Girls and the Fort Wayne Derby Brats will present a check for $2,000 to the Hoosier Burn Camp on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 8pm at Bell’s Skating Rink. The money was raised at the charity bout held on Sunday, February 28, at Bell’s Skating Rink.

Fort Wayne is at the pinnacle of Indiana’s roller derby resurgence. Since October 2005, the Fort Wayne Derby Girls, a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, has raised $47,000 for local women’s and children’s charities.
