My grandson (tayton hathaway) saved his dad's life April 3rd, 2010 and he is our HERO and we want the world to know! Tate walked into the kitchen in his house and his dad was laying face down on the floor. Tate yelled at his dad to stop joking and get up, but upon further investigation, realized his dad had had a seizure and needed help. Tate rolled him over on his side and drug him across the floor to the phone, so he could call 911. After giving them the address and info they needed an ambulance arrived immediately. Tate has told us his dad's lips were purple and he would not wake up, and tate kept kissing his dad's cheek while waiting for the ambulance. Tate also has 3 younger sisters who were home too - and he kept them under control as they were all crying, while his mom was at work. tate also managed to call his mom to tell her what happened and she immediately left work. Our family wanted to honor tate (tator-tot - his nickname) so at Easter Papa Hahn made a certificate and gave it to him and it is now hanging on their living room wall.
