Northrop High School is having a Walk For World Poverty. When? May 22nd, 2010. Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. The walk begins approx. at 8:00 a.m. The walk should end approx. end at 12:00 noon. Where? Lawton Park Downtown Fort Wayne on Fourth Street, off of Clinton. What do you need to bring? For admission, you need to bring $5 or 5 canned good items. Bring money for games, t-shirts, etc. Bring your friends and everyone you know :) We will be having a water balloon toss, corn-hole tournaments, and face painting will be avaliable of the childern. The walk is a total of 3.2 miles and will be along the portion of the River Greenway. We encourage everyone to take just a few hours out of their day to help us achieve our goal of changing the lives of the people in Sudan. All canned good items will be going to the local community harvest food bank here in town, and all other proceeds raised will be given t the people in Sudan through World Vision. Please come & help support us in the effort to raise money & food for the people in Sudan! We would greatly appreciate it.
