Nine Special Olympics athletes from Allen County joined more than 2,700 other athletes this weekend at the annual Summer Games in Terra Haute at Indiana State Univeristy. These athletes competed in Track and Field and Swimming events and proudly display their winnings. Competition began Friday and concluded on Sunday. Opening Ceremonies proudly welcomed Butler's mens basketball coach, Brad Stevens. Competition, fun and friendship was had by all.
